Delphine is named after Catherine Deneuve's character in the iconic French Nouvelle-Aquitaine-based musical, Les Demoiselles de Rochefort. The colour references the majestic storms that take place on the region's Atlantic coast.

Sustainability
100% deadstock polyester twill. Sourcing deadstock prevents the manufacture of virgin polyester, which is plastic-based. We never use virgin polyester fabrics, only sourcing deadstock or recycled polyester to contribute to the reduction of the fashion industry's reliance on virgin oil-based materials.
As polyester fabrics shed microfibres into the water supply, we recommend washing your dress inside a Guppy Friend washing bag to capture the microparticles.
Delphine is manufactured at a small-batch production studio in South London. The studio specializes in high-end production, working with many emerging designers and brands in the city. Each piece is made by hand in-studio by their talented seamstresses and cutters.
Please note polyester fabrics are not biodegradable.

Packaging
Our apparel products are shipped in a 100% compostable mailer. After removing the shipping labels, your mailer will decompose after six months in a household compost, or after three months in a commercial compost, leaving no harmful residues behind. Our stickers are also compostable as they are printed with soy-based inks.
Our tissue paper is made of 100% recycled pulp and our comp cards are printed on FSC-certified paper.
