Monument Pant

Bamboo plain wrap pant, with blue and brown digitally printed art from collaborating artist MET. 

Features a zen-inspired folded and draped frontal tie, with the silky drape of the fabric creating a flattering backside. They are at once comfortable, cool, and elegant -  as ready for a road trip through the desert as they are for a poolside cocktail. 

The artwork, originally acrylic on canvas, depicts a faraway desert valley in the American Southwest. It was professionally scanned, tiled, then digitally painted on to create the psychedelic blue and brown stripes seen on the pant today.

Fabric & Sustainability

Composition: 100% Bamboo plain, a natural and lightweight material, making the Monument Pant a comfortable and breathable option for summer wear.

Bamboo is an efficient crop as its stalks grow very quickly and closely together, while normally only needing rainwater to maintain growth. During the fibre processing stage, chemical intervention is used to turn bamboo fibres into silky fabric.

Production:  Manufactured at a small-batch production studio in London. 

The Monument Pant was printed using the reactive digital printing technique. Digital printing reduces water consumption by up to 50%, as compared to roller or silkscreen printing. As well, there is less ink wastage and therefore less ink discharge.

Please note each pant is slightly unique to the other. Pattern placement may not be exactly as shown in the pictures.

Circularity: These pants are biodegradable.

Packaging: Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.

Sizing

Model is 5'9, wearing a size medium.

These pants are cut a bit large in order to have more necessity for the tied waist. If in doubt, size down.

Our measurements are taken in cm from the products laid flat, from seam to seam.

Wash Care Instructions

Machine wash in cool water on a gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. Iron on a warm setting.

Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.
