The Three Realms Organic Cotton T-Shirt is Blue Nude's first experiment with screenprint techniques and typographic art. The base is an oversized crew neck t-shirt, made with thick black organic cotton to provide a structured shape, and accented with cosmic deep purple stitching. The shirt's graphic, a circular typographic design with the words "oblivion" "creation" and "infinity", sits off-centred on the right-hand shoulder for a subtle yet unexpected placement. In addition to being worn on its own, our recommendation is to layer with a turtleneck underneath. 

Three Realms' graphic was created by a fellow resident at our East London studio space, visual creative Studio Cosmogram. We first met France-born Coline L'Achiver, the artist behind Studio Cosmogram, at one of our Art Party events, where we quickly bonded over fascinations with mysticism and the subconscious. A few months later, we shared our idea for the Tarantula collection with Coline, and began to collaborate on a screenprinted design.

We challenged Coline with a puzzle-like brief: could she create a simple, aesthetically pleasing design that encapsulated the 'three realms of mystery' of the Tarantula collection into a circular typographic design, capable for screenprinting machines? After extensive research of cosmic shapes and testing of various typographic designs, Studio Cosmogram's finalized 'digital couture' was ready for printing. The resulting design was a pink and purple typographic circle, with the 'three realms of mystery', oblivion, infinity, and creation, feeding into a centre point of gravity. It's a brilliant interpretation of the brief, creating illusions of depth reminiscent of the mind-bending warp of a black hole.

Each t-shirt is cut from 100% organic cotton jersey and ribbing, woven in Turkey and sourced from our trusted organic cotton suppliers in Somerset.

Three Realms' printing is done by a South London-based screenprint studio.  Each shirt is manufactured at a North London-based small-batch production studio. The studio specializes in high-end production, working with many emerging and established designers and brands in the city.
