A blue oversized crewneck merino wool knit sweater. Knit via the intarsia method by artisans in Tuscany, Italy, with hand-embroidered light blue and red waves elegantly wrapping around the sides.
Features grey circular colour blocking on its sides for a flattering accent to the waist.
The sweater's waves resemble the many curved lines that are found in the Pacific Northwest's environment. These lines are evident in the waved branches of the arbutus tree, the hypnotic silhouette of mountains layered in the distance, or the coastal islands' curvy forms that are visible from higher ground.
Made in Italy.
Fabric & Sustainability
Composition: 100% merino wool.
The Cortes is our gold standard of sustainability. Our merino wool yarn is sourced from Italy and is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified and mulesing-free. Our supplier is also in the process of receiving RWS (responsible wool standard) certification, and is aligned to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Production: Knit by the artisan studio Manusa, a social cooperative based in Tuscany, Italy. Manusa hires and trains socially fragile people to encourage rediscovery of personal creative skills while preserving local artisan craft in their area.

Circularity: This product is biodegradable.
Production: Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.

Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low, inside out.
