Borealis is a unisex wool mock neck top, with a straight cut and lightly-flared sleeves. It’s designed as a sophisticated wearable canvas, displaying an original artwork by visual artist Studio Cosmogram. It depicts a muted blue and grey arctic landscape with a mountain horizon that wraps around the side of the garment.
The artwork was originally created as a gradient screenprint. Inspired by our trip to the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, the artwork is a recreation of a snowy landscape sighted while mushing at dusk. It's a winter ombre of grey and blue, snow to sky, complete with snow-dusted shoulders.
Borealis is a modern piece, making a statement with tonal subtlety. Its wool is warm yet lightweight, making it a fantastic layerable winter top, perfect with a pair of wide-leg wool trousers for a gallerist feel.

Fabric & Sustainability
Composition: 100% wool.
Our wool is digitally printed by a supplier working out of the heritage printing town of Macclesfield, UK, which has been established there for over 50 years.
Wool is a biodegradable natural fabric.
Production:
Manufactured at a North London-based small-batch production studio. The pieces are made in studio by their talented seamstresses and cutters. It takes three hours to cut and sew just one top.
Packaging: Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.
Sizing
Model is 6'2, wearing size extra small. We advise male customers to order one size larger than they usually wear.
Our measurements are taken in cm from the products laid flat, from seam to seam.
