Ursa Merino Wool Bouclé Hat

Ursa is a black ribbed knit hat with a grey and white bouclé trim. The ribbing offers natural stretch, allowing the hat to fit multiple sizes.

The hat is inspired by archival photographs of the Arctic community of Svalbard, near the North Pole. Many hat styles with fur trims were worn over the 20th century, offering warmth with a touch of glamour. Ursa was developed in response, with the bouclé adding the glamour and shape of fur without the ethical concerns.

Fabric & Sustainability

Composition: 100% merino wool.

Ursa's wool is sourced from the Piedmont region of Italy. Our supplier's yarns are entirely harvested, spun, and treated in Italy, making them 100% traceable. Their operations run on 100% renewable energy.

93% of the chemicals used are registered at level 3 on the ZDHC Gateway, indicating a strong commitment to managing, removing, and reducing hazardous chemicals from the supply chain. This makes for clean fibres and safe skin contact.

Production: Ethically made in Manchester at an independent knitwear studio.

Packaging: Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.

Our measurements are taken in cm from the products laid flat, from seam to seam.

Care Instructions

Hand wash in cool water. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low. Dry clean possible.
