A stone grey sleeveless shift dress, with an architectural curved cut-out back. Features a red woven panel detail, cut from organic cotton grown, spun, naturally dyed, and woven by artisan weavers in the Sierra Sur de Oaxaca, Mexico, in the tradition of Zapotec textile art.
The dress represents the beautiful contrast of modern Mexican architecture coexisting alongside indigenous arts and traditions.
Fabric + Sustainability
Composition: 80% lyocell and 20% linen blend. The red woven panel is 100% organic cotton.
Cochineal's woven panel fabric was created at Khadi Oaxaca, a traditional artisan weaving collective in Mexico. The cotton is native to the Costa Chica of Oaxaca and Guerrero. It is grown without agrochemicals while preserving the bio-heritage of native cotton and corn.
Production: Manufactured at a North London-based small-batch production studio.
Packaging: Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.
Sizing
Model is 5'7, wearing a size small.
As the dress' fabric is non-stretch, we advise going up a size if in-between sizes.
