Sonoran Hand-Painted Dress

Sonoran - our masterpiece. An elegant spaghetti strap maxi-dress, with a high neck and deep V-back. Cut in a sandy Tencel twill, it has drape and weight which allows it to follow the form of the body without being clingy. Featuring original hand-painted art from surrealist artist MET. 

The painting explodes from the side of the dress in a psychedelic reaction of life. Organic forms twist and move in a wild rush of colour.

MET used acrylic paint and textile medium, allowing for the dress to be gently hand-washed without damaging the paint.

It's a dreamy dress, ideally worn under the sensual heat of the sun.

Sonoran is limited run and small-batch, with only five pieces made.

Made in England.

Please note due to the hand-painted nature of the garment, there are subtle variations between each piece.

Sustainability

The Sonoran Dress' fabric is Lenzing Tencel. Lenzing Tencel derives from renewable sources and is manufactured in a closed loop system. This means the procedure resuses almost all the chemicals used to process the fibre. Tencel is biodegradable, and the renewable sources used require much less land and water than what's needed for comparable materials.

Manufactured at our local small-batch production studio in East London. Each dress was made by hand in-studio by their talented seamstresses and cutters. It took over three hours to cut and sew just one of our pieces.

Sizing

Model is 5'5, wearing a size small.

Our measurements are taken in cm from the products laid flat, from seam to seam.

Packaging

Our apparel products are shipped in a 100% compostable mailer. After removing the shipping labels, your mailer will decompose after six months in a household compost, or after three months in a commercial compost, leaving no harmful residues behind. Our stickers are also compostable as they are printed with soy-based inks.

Our tissue paper is made of 100% recycled pulp and our comp cards are printed on FSC-certified paper.
