Riad Merino Wool Intarsia Sweater

Riad is a wine-red merino wool mock-neck knit sweater featuring a brown and white eight-sided intarsia spiral.

The riad is a Moroccan style of domestic architecture with an intimate inner courtyard, often developed with striking symmetry and attention to detail. The sweater's angular spiral represents a view from above, the most spectacular way to appreciate a riad's architectural intimacy.

Fabric & Sustainability

Composition: 100% merino wool. 

Riad's wool is sourced from Italy. Our supplier's wool is completely harvested, spun, and treated in Italy, making it 100% traceable. Their operations run on 100% renewable energy.

Production: Ethically made in Manchester at an independent knitwear studio.

Circularity: This sweater is fully recyclable (via non-household textile recycling), and is biodegradable at the end of its life.

Packaging: Our products are shipped in 100% compostable mailers, which are both home and commercially compostable, once the shipping labels have been removed. Our soy-based ink stickers are also compostable.

Model is 5'9.5, wearing Small/Medium.

Our measurements are taken in cm from the products laid flat, from seam to seam.

Wash Care Instructions

Hand wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low, inside out. Can be dry cleaned in: perchloroethylene, hydrocarbons (heavy benzines). We recommend avoiding dry cleaning where possible to reduce environmental impact.
